The model supports detailed instruction following, accurate object placement, dense text rendering, non-English text, and multiple visual styles (photos, pixel art, manga) at up to 2K resolution. It can be used via the AI SDK with the model identifier `openai/gpt-image-2` or tested in Vercel's model playground. AI Gateway provides a unified API with usage tracking, cost monitoring, retries, failover, observability, and Bring Your Own Key support.
