Google updates Workspace to make AI your new office intern

Google announced a range of AI-driven updates to its Google Cloud Next event, centered on a new system called 'Google Intelligence'. The system integrates with Gmail, Calendar, Chat, Drive, and other tools to automate tasks across workflows. Key features include: Google Intelligence for cross-app AI assistance with user-controlled data access; Google-powered Google Sheet building and data entry claiming 9x faster population; and AI writing tools in Google that can mimic a user's writing style. The updates position Google to compete with Microsoft and others in the enterprise productivity space.
