Google released Android XR SDK Developer Preview 3 with two new libraries for AI Glasses development: Jetpack Projected for extending mobile apps to interact with glasses hardware (camera, microphone, speakers, display), and Jetpack Compose Glimmer for building augmented UI experiences with optical see-through displays. ARCore for Jetpack XR now supports motion tracking and geospatial positioning for AI Glasses. The SDK includes an Android Studio emulator for testing touchpad and voice interactions.
