Google launched the Developer Knowledge API and MCP server in public preview to help developers access up-to-date documentation for Google services. The API enables searching and retrieving documentation in Markdown format from Firebase, Android, Google Cloud, and other platforms, with re-indexing within 24 hours of updates. It supports SearchDocumentChunks for finding content snippets and GetDocument/BatchGetDocuments for retrieving full content.
