Google's Chrome Security Team details how Android's Advanced Protection program integrates with Chrome on Android through three key security features: enforcing HTTPS-First Mode to block insecure HTTP connections, enabling full Site Isolation on devices with 4GB+ RAM to prevent cross-site data leakage, and disabling V8's higher-level JavaScript optimizing compilers to reduce exploit surface area (mitigating ~50% of known V8 exploits). Each feature is also available independently outside Advanced Protection via Chrome settings and enterprise policies. Advanced Protection is available on Android 16 with Chrome 137+.
