Google has announced new generative AI features for its mapping and geospatial platforms, targeting enterprise users. Maps Imagery Grounding lets users generate realistic Street View scenes from text prompts via Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. Aerial and Satellite Insights enables analysis of satellite imagery stored in BigQuery, compressing weeks of work into minutes. Two new Earth AI Imagery models can identify objects like bridges, roads, and power lines in imagery, eliminating the need for companies to build their own AI systems from scratch. These features build on Google's existing Earth AI platform, already used by partners like Airbus and Boston Children's Hospital.
