Just cheaper in general, for the price of one US sales employee you get like 10 in India and they’re not even far behind. I do think the US government should step in and do something about all the outsourcing though because it’s gonna just gonna siphon money out of the US economy.
I’d usually not advocate economic protectionism but in this case i think it’s warranted because this is self-perpetuating, in order to compete with Google other companies are forced to outsource as well and this is starting to spread to other businesses. Outsourcing restaurant staff through video chat even. It’s getting wild
