Google is discontinuing 11 Privacy Sandbox technologies due to low adoption rates and ecosystem feedback. The initiative, launched in 2019 as a cookie alternative for advertisers, faced antitrust investigations from UK and US authorities over concerns about Chrome's market dominance.
