<p>This depends on what you mean by “productive”. If you write a small program that has to ship soon, Go might be your best choice. If you know that your program will be used for a long time and you will have to maintain it, Rust is most probably the more “productive” choice in the long run.</p>
<p>The only thing I can definitely agree on is that you should not use C++ (or C) to start a new project. Learning C++ is actually way more complex than Rust. Yes, the compiler will forgive more of your mistakes, but do you really want it to?</p>
