Google has officially announced that Chrome will come to ARM64 Linux devices in Q2 2026, ending a long gap where only the open-source Chromium was available for ARM-based Linux systems like Raspberry Pi or Snapdragon X Elite laptops. The ARM64 Linux build will bring Chrome-exclusive features such as Google account sync, Google Pay, enhanced Safe Browsing, and Gemini AI integrations. Google is partnering with NVIDIA to support the DGX Spark workstation, and DEB/RPM packages will be available from the official Chrome website. This completes Chrome's ARM coverage across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
