Good Games Group, founded by former Humble Games leaders, has launched a new indie publishing label called Balor Games. The label was formed after acquiring Ziff Davis' publishing business (including the Humble Games back catalog) and the complete Firestoke Games catalog. Balor Games now oversees more than 60 indie titles including Slay the Spire, A Hat in Time, and SIGNALIS. The label aims to act as a long-term steward for indie titles, offering lifecycle support, community building, and commercial strategy while preserving developer autonomy. Balor is also accepting pitches from independent developers seeking a committed publishing partner.
