I’m thrilled to announce the completion of my recent project.
This project has been an incredible journey into modern web application development and DevOps practices. Here’s what I accomplished:

<li>Designed and implemented a web application using Golang</li>
<li>Containerized the application with a multi-stage Dockerfile for optimal efficiency</li>
<li>Created Kubernetes manifest files with Kustomize support for flexible deployment
• Designed a <a href="https://devops.alacritysys.com/jenkins/view/Projects/job/Applications/job/gowebapp/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">Jenkinsfile</a> for Continuous integration.
• Using Google GKE cluster, deployed the application on <a href="https://devops.alacritysys.com/argo/applications/devops/dsourav?view=tree&amp;resource=" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">ArgoCD</a> using GitOps methodology.</li>

Announcing the completion of a Golang web application project that incorporates modern DevOps practices. Why the decision to use both Docker and Kubernetes in your project. Since Docker handles containerization and Kubernetes manages orchestration, why was it necessary to use both? Could Docker alone have managed the containerization needs, or could Kubernetes have handled everything, including container orchestration, without Docker? I get confused between the two when to use each and why, so I’d appreciate any clarity on this
