Godot OpenXR Vendors plugin v5.1 has been released, requiring Godot 4.6 as the minimum version. Key additions include Android XR features such as Trackables, Dynamic Resolution, Unbounded Reference Space, automatic streaming client launch, and mouse interaction. The update also simplifies OpenXR validation layers for Android by packaging them as an AAR and publishing to MavenCentral. Composition Layer extensions can now be applied to the main projection layer, enabling correct depth ordering without hole punching on Meta headsets. Hybrid App switching can now be simulated on desktop for faster iteration. Breaking changes include class renames, removal of the bundled Khronos OpenXR loader, and Rec709 as the new default color space for Meta's color space extension.
