Coffee Stain Malmo, a 17-person Swedish mobile game studio and subsidiary of Coffee Stain Publishing, has been shut down. The studio was known for mobile titles including Goat Simulator 3 and Songs of Conquest Mobile. VP of Mobile Daniel Persson announced the closure on LinkedIn, noting his own role was eliminated. The shutdown is part of broader restructuring following Embracer Group's split into three standalone companies, which has resulted in ongoing layoffs across multiple studios including Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal.
