<p>Using task since more than a year, successfully replaced not just makefiles, with their … terrible and arcane DSL that I never could stand since having to work with them in the 90s, but also basic CI tasks and it works surprisingly well.</p>


<p>Because of basic availability, I still create Makefiles at the beginning of new projects, although there are better tools like Task and Just files <a href="https://github.com/casey/just" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">https://github.com/casey/just</a>.</p>
