GNU Guix has announced that 64-bit (x86_64) support for GNU Hurd is now ready, with an installer option available for those wanting to try the Guix distribution running on Hurd instead of the Linux kernel. However, package availability remains very limited — only about 0.9% of packages build successfully on the 64-bit version.
