GNOME 50.rc has been released as the final tagged build before the stable GNOME 50 launch on March 18. Key last-minute changes include GNOME Remote Desktop gaining explicit DMA buffer synchronization and zero-copy Vulkan/VA-API rendering by default, Mutter delivering better NVIDIA performance and improved HDR support, GDM updating remote desktop handling to accept hostnames, and GNOME Calendar adding arrow-key navigation for accessibility.
