Gmail’s useful new AI inbox features will cost you $250 a month

Google has rolled out an AI Inbox feature for Gmail that provides personalized briefings, highlights key emails (bills, appointments, upcoming events), and displays interactive cards alongside the regular inbox. Currently, the feature is restricted to US-based Google AI Ultra subscribers at $250/month ($3,000/year). The subscription also includes higher Gemini usage limits, advanced AI models, 30TB of cloud storage, YouTube Premium, and Google Home Premium Advanced. Google is expected to expand access to lower tiers, potentially including the $20/month AI Pro plan, though privacy concerns about giving AI deep access to personal data remain.
