I’m torn between thinking that smartphones hold a higher share in the global web traffic when majority of affordable utilitarian devices are smartphones.
Compared to a laptop and miles ahead of a desktop, a smartphone packs a lot of hardware that on their own are costly to buy like multiple cameras, microphones, speakers, gyroscopes, let your imagination go wild.
I feel like most of us don’t get to fully utilize the hardware packed in our smartphones but that’s not all so bad, they are meant to solve the simple things like receive a phone call or respond to emails.
Things that required chunky land line phones and desktop computers. But for the more serious workflows, laptops and more over desktops are required. you need to screen real estate to actually let your mind separate noise from objective.
But in this Ai driven world, we see the rise of smartphones as they pack more hardware to do on board neural processing and let hard core programmers and employees take a step back to let someone else do the work for once.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d prefer working on high profile work myself but looking at the uptake of Ai, could we be seeing a change in global workflow?
