Raycast has announced Glaze, a new product that lets users create desktop Mac apps by describing them in plain language to an AI. No coding required — users describe what they want, and Glaze builds it. Apps run natively on macOS with access to the file system, camera, keyboard shortcuts, menu bar, and background processes, differentiating it from browser-based no-code tools. Glaze supports sharing apps with teams via a private store or publishing publicly. It is currently in private beta with a waitlist, and pricing starts at $20/month with a free tier available.
