The real problem isn't AI content but our collective consumption habits and the endless demand for low-quality material that keeps both humans and machines producing it.

Give me AI slop over human sludge any day

Lately I’ve been so confused I almost thought he was another account pretending to be DHH. Or maybe I was just idolizing him too much. His achievements are great, but his current writing is questionable.

People that make the ‘human sludge’ still needs to put in effort into filming and editing the content they create. Even if I despise the overly edited content (like Maxor on youtube whose only video I could whistand is an half-life video with minimal editing), it still requires effort.
AI slop on the other hand require little to no effort from the human and rot even the brain of the person ‘’‘creating’‘’ content.
But don’t worry, once we make real IA with procedural content generation privated by big companies, we won’t have IA slop and everyone can go back to actually making things.
