GitLab Duo Agent Platform can now be paired with Amazon Bedrock to provide agentic AI capabilities within the software development lifecycle while keeping data, logs, and inference traffic inside an organization's AWS environment. Three deployment patterns are available: GitLab.com with GitLab-hosted AI Gateway, GitLab Self-Managed with GitLab-hosted AI Gateway, and fully self-hosted with customer-operated Bedrock models. The integration addresses enterprise pain points around fragmented AI tooling, ungoverned data flows, and underutilized cloud spend commitments by consolidating DevSecOps orchestration and AI model governance on a single stack.
