The Daily Stars Explorer tool has received major updates from v0.0.5 to v0.1.0. Key additions include an hourly star granularity chart showing exact spike timing with peak hour/day calculations, GitHub mentions feed overlaid on the star timeline (color-coded by issue/PR/comment type), pinnable repositories that persist across sessions, a dedicated mobile view, light/dark theme support with auto-detection, and a full UI redesign with improved visual hierarchy. The tool uses the GitHub GraphQL API to bypass the 40k star history cap imposed by the REST API, enabling full history for viral repositories. Additional features include a contributors timeline, live current-day star count, and a new public repos trend chart.
