GitHub Actions cache storage has been expanded beyond the previous 10 GB per-repository limit using a pay-as-you-go model. All repositories continue to receive 10 GB at no cost, but Pro, Team, and Enterprise accounts can now increase limits with automatic billing for additional storage. Two new cache management policies have been introduced: cache size eviction limit (GB) and cache retention limit (days), both configurable by admins at enterprise, organization, and repository levels. The default remains 10 GB with seven-day retention at no extra cost, and billing owners can set budgets that make cache read-only when reached.
