rkdebian is an open-source build system that produces a bootable Debian 12 Bookworm image for the Doogee U10 Android tablet (Rockchip RK3562 SoC). The image boots from an SD card with no bootloader unlock required, leaving internal Android storage untouched. Most hardware features work including display, touchscreen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, audio, battery, and USB OTG. The NPU is active and supports local LLM inference via Rockchip's RKLLM stack, with benchmarks showing Qwen3-0.6B running at ~4.9 tok/s. The build system supports configurable GPU stacks (Mali or Panfrost), display servers, CPU governors, and OTA updates. The project was reverse-engineered from scratch without vendor BSP or documentation, using Firefly RK3562 open-source repos as a starting point.
