GSD (Get Shit Done) is a meta-prompting, context engineering, and spec-driven development system designed to make AI coding tools like Claude Code, OpenCode, Gemini CLI, Codex, and Copilot more reliable. It solves 'context rot' — quality degradation as the AI context window fills — by using structured workflows with parallel subagents, XML-formatted plans, atomic git commits, and fresh context windows per task. The workflow follows a discuss → plan → execute → verify loop per phase, with multi-agent orchestration handling research, planning, execution, and verification. Install via npx, configure model profiles (quality/balanced/budget), and run commands like /gsd:new-project, /gsd:plan-phase, and /gsd:execute-phase to build projects systematically without enterprise-level overhead.
