Git worktrees enable running multiple AI coding agent sessions simultaneously on different branches, eliminating idle wait time between tasks. By setting up separate worktrees for each feature, you can have Claude Code (or similar tools) work on multiple features in parallel. The workflow involves creating worktrees per feature, running concurrent agent sessions, then reviewing, committing, and merging as usual. Custom slash commands in Claude Code can automate worktree creation when starting new features.
