I find it a bit weird that nowhere is the mention that this is the Angular commit message convention.
We tried it with a team for a little over a year and quickly found it to be cumbersome to use. The scope is never that precise and people tend to put everything in the “fix” category.
I’ve since reversed to a much simpler method: A single sentence, written in imperative that starts with an uppercase.
If you want to get fancy, you can also try Gitmoji, it’s surprisingly efficient.
