Honestly, after 18 years of using git, I never new this existed. At first glance everything you can see is pretty much the same than in cli. But then
<ul>
<li>the summary does give you a clear birtheye view in “one command”</li>
<li>the shortlog and log do give you access to commitdiff in a single click</li>
<li>you even get an option for a side by side comparision</li>
<li>you can navigate back in the diffs with a single click</li>
<li>you have a file tree with access to history of each item</li>
</ul>
Honestly, many git dedicated GUI tools are way less intuitive.
