Getting the Flock out

A California resident attempted to invoke their CCPA rights to have Flock Safety delete all collected data about them and their vehicle. Flock Safety refused, claiming they are merely a data processor for their customers (e.g., local law enforcement or HOAs) and that the data deletion request must be directed to those customers instead. The author believes this response is legally inaccurate under CCPA and is considering legal action.
