I love karaoke! It’s so fun. I am coincidentally, also half Korean. My dad was adopted from Korea, and raised in an American English-speaking home - some music and piano at home, but not much singing. He doesn’t sing in front of people - ever. Sometimes, I catch him when he thinks no one is listening, though.
I know he loves music. I wonder if its just an inherent thing for Asians to just love karaoke? Haha. Really, though, it does give a deep sense of just letting go and having fun.
