Backstage will host a ContribFest session at KubeCon 2025 North America in Atlanta on November 13. ContribFest is a 75-minute hands-on track where CNCF projects work with contributors, welcoming both new and experienced participants. To prepare, attendees should fork the Backstage and Backstage Community Plugins repositories, install Node.js version 22 and Yarn, and test their setup by running both codebases locally. The session provides an opportunity to contribute to Backstage with guidance from project experts.
