Google Gemini's new Skills feature in Chrome lets users save frequently used prompts as reusable workflows accessible via a forward slash command in the sidebar. Skills can be created from scratch or chosen from a pre-made library, and they support multi-tab context so Gemini can read and summarize content across several open tabs simultaneously. The feature is currently limited to the Gemini sidebar in Chrome and does not work in standalone Gemini tabs.
