Gemini is an open-source LaTeX poster theme built on top of the beamerposter package, designed to be clean, minimal, and modern. The author created it out of frustration with existing LaTeX poster templates that looked outdated, while still wanting the benefits of LaTeX over GUI tools like PowerPoint or Illustrator. Key advantages of using LaTeX for posters include automatic layout, separation of content and presentation, support for mathematical formulae, programmatic plots and diagrams, and column-based layouts — all without manual positioning.
