Gemini 3.1 Pro, Google's latest agentic coding model, is now rolling out in public preview for GitHub Copilot. It is available to Copilot Pro, Pro+, Business, and Enterprise users across VS Code (chat, ask, edit, agent modes), Visual Studio (agent, ask modes), github.com, and GitHub Mobile. The model is noted for efficient edit-then-test loops and high tool precision with fewer tool calls per benchmark. Enterprise and Business admins must enable the policy in Copilot settings. Rollout is gradual.
