Full Sail University is opening the IBM Cyber Defense Range powered by AWS and Cloud Range on its Winter Park, Florida campus in April 2026. The 1,463+ sq ft facility features 28 workstations, large display screens, and simulated enterprise/cloud network environments. Students in Cybersecurity and IT degree programs will conduct live attack-and-defense exercises, incident response simulations, malware analysis, and threat hunting. The range is aligned with NICE and NIST frameworks and will also host competitions and training events for local businesses and government agencies.
