Fujifilm X half: Is it the perfect family camera ?

A personal review of the Fujifilm X Half camera from the perspective of a long-time Fujifilm user and Leica M11 shooter looking for a family-friendly camera. After failed experiments with cheap no-name kids cameras, the author found the X Half to be a near-ideal solution for his wife and young children due to its lightweight build, simple auto mode, film simulations, excellent battery life, and reliable USB-C charging. Downsides include finicky WiFi, a small sensor, slow performance, gimmicky film lever, and a price point the author considers too high at $850. The verdict: not for serious photographers, but a solid choice for families and casual users who want a fun, easy-to-use camera with good JPEG output.
