Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of FTX crypto exchange and trading firm Alameda Research, has been convicted on seven criminal charges. FTX filed for bankruptcy after shifting funds to Alameda, causing the collapse of the exchange. Bankman-Fried faces a maximum sentence of 110 years. Testimony from Caroline Ellison and Gary Wang implicated Bankman-Fried in the wrongdoing.
