The Free Software Foundation (FSF) has published a clarification on AGPLv3 additional terms following a dispute between OnlyOffice and the Euro-Office fork. OnlyOffice CEO Lev Bannov claimed Euro-Office violates the AGPLv3, but FSF's Krzysztof Siewicz concluded that OnlyOffice itself added restrictions incompatible with the AGPLv3 — and that recipients of the code are legally allowed to remove those restrictions. The FSF urges OnlyOffice to clarify its licensing, remove any further restrictions from documentation and source code, and stop confusing users by attaching non-compliant terms to GNU General Public Licenses.
