From Markdown to Video

Code Hike v1 now supports custom React components and structured markdown content, enabling integration with Remotion to turn annotated code walkthroughs into videos. The workflow involves parsing markdown with Code Hike's parseRoot, mapping steps to Remotion Sequence components, adding annotated codeblocks, and using token transition utilities for smooth animated transitions between code states. Annotations can be animated using Remotion hooks like interpolateColors for fade-in effects, with parametrizable timing via annotation queries.
