Hey Daily.dev community! 👋 I’m Arya, an MBA grad turned aspiring AI engineer, and this is my first post here. I wanted to start my blogging journey by sharing something that fundamentally changed my relationship with technology.
After 15 failed attempts at learning to code (yes, I counted), I was ready to accept that maybe programming just wasn’t for me. Despite my passion for AI and automation, the frustration of fighting with syntax errors and logic loops left me defeated every time.
Then I discovered what Andrew Karpathy calls “Vibe Coding” - the art of pair programming with AI tools like GitHub Copilot and Windsurf.

The moment my first program ran without issues and I could replicate it effortlessly was truly life-changing. Instead of memorizing syntax, I could focus on problem-solving. Rather than getting stuck on implementation details, I maintained creative flow.
Now I’m building LeSearch AI (a research paper assistant) using NextJS, TypeScript, and NodeJS - something I couldn’t imagine doing just a year ago. As someone with an MBA background working on AI research at university, this approach bridges my business mindset with technical implementation.
If you’ve struggled with traditional coding approaches, don’t give up yet! Try pair programming with AI tools - I promise you won’t regret it. The constant feedback loop accelerates learning in ways traditional methods never could.

Don’t get me wrong, but if you’re almost completely dependent on AI assistants, perhaps you should re-evaluate your career decisions.
