Freeform, a startup founded by ex-SpaceX engineers, has raised a $67M Series B to scale its AI-native metal 3D printing platform. The company's current GoldenEye system uses 18 lasers to fuse metal powders into precision components, and the new funding will support development of a next-gen system called Skyfall, which will use hundreds of lasers to produce thousands of kilograms of metal parts daily. Freeform runs real-time physics-based simulations using Nvidia H200 GPU clusters on-site, claiming to have more data on metal-printing physics than any other company. Investors include Founders Fund, Nvidia's NVentures, and Two Sigma Ventures, with a reported post-financing valuation of $179M.
