Framework Computer has become a KDE Patron, committing financial support to the KDE open-source desktop environment. The sponsorship tier requires at least 5,000 EUR/year for companies with 50 or fewer employees, or 10,000 EUR/year for larger organizations. Framework joins notable KDE Patron organizations including Canonical, Google, SUSE, and The Qt Company. Beyond KDE, Framework also sponsors Xfce, NetBSD, FreeBSD, NixOS, Hyperland, LVFS, and other open-source projects.
