The April 2026 quarterly update for Azul Zulu Builds of OpenJDK is now available, covering Java versions 8, 11, 17, 21, 25, and 26. The release includes 11 CVE fixes (three rated high severity) and hundreds of bug fixes across supported versions. Key highlights include Azul Zulu joining Docker's Official Images program (available as azul-zulu on Docker Hub, with old azul/zulu-openjdk images retiring by end of 2026), new JavaFX distributions for ARM-based Windows 11 and Fedora 43, CRaC's Warp engine becoming the default, and upcoming macOS JVM detection directory layout changes. A known AWT + Security Manager issue with a workaround is also documented.
