GitHub has added a 'Fix with Copilot' button to github.com that resolves merge conflicts in three clicks using the Copilot cloud agent. After clicking the button, a pre-populated comment is submitted, and Copilot autonomously fixes the conflicts, verifies the build and tests pass, then pushes the changes from its own cloud environment. Beyond merge conflicts, you can also mention @copilot in pull requests to fix failing GitHub Actions workflows, address code review comments, or make arbitrary code changes. The feature is available on all paid Copilot plans, with Business and Enterprise users requiring admin enablement.
