Firestore integration with Eventarc has reached general availability, providing new functionality and event types, including the Auth Context extension for CloudEvents. This allows embedding metadata about the principal triggering a document change. Setting up triggers for Firestore with authentication information enables capturing and processing events based on different authentication contexts.
