Mozilla is adding server location selection to Firefox's built-in free VPN, expected in Firefox 151 releasing May 19. The feature currently routes traffic through Fastly proxy servers automatically based on proximity, but users will soon be able to manually choose from supported locations: USA, UK, France, Canada, and Germany. The free VPN requires a Mozilla account, offers 50 GB/month, and only protects in-browser traffic. Android support is also planned with the same feature set.
