Firefox's free VPN and split view finally give you a reason to leave Chrome behind

Firefox has been adding features that differentiate it from Chrome, including a free built-in VPN (browser-only, with a paid Mozilla VPN upsell for full device coverage), tab notes tied to specific URLs, to-do lists with pomodoro-style timers, and a split view mode for side-by-side browsing. Vertical tabs, added about a year ago, are also highlighted as a feature Chrome only recently matched. Most of these are experimental and available under Firefox Labs in settings.
