Firefox 149 is rolling out with several notable additions. A new Split View feature lets users view two tabs side-by-side in a single window, with fluid resizing and easy tab management. A free built-in VPN (browser-only, 50GB/month limit) is gradually rolling out to users in the US, UK, Germany, and France. On Linux, Firefox now uses the native XDG portal file picker, benefiting KDE Plasma, COSMIC, and Xfce users.
