GitHub Copilot users can now connect to the Figma MCP server directly from VS Code to enable a bidirectional design-to-code workflow. Developers can pull design context from Figma into code and push rendered UI back to Figma as editable frames. Setup requires installing the Figma MCP server, connecting a Figma account, and using Copilot to bridge the two tools. The feature is available now in VS Code, with Copilot CLI support coming soon. It works across all Figma plans and requires the remote MCP server for the UI-to-Figma capture capability.
